Castel Pula or Pula Citadel by the name itself is a fortress that was built in 1630 aiming to protect the city and harbor. Built by the Venetians, it is situated on a hill at the center of Pula. Also known as Kastel, the unique culture and mixture of traditions as it was invaded by different conquerors like the Greeks, Romans, and Austro-Hungarian Empire. The city is also known for its history, the famous Roman amphitheater, and of course, the freshest seafood you can get. With all of these credentials, who does not want to have their wedding here?

Naomi and Domagoj are one of those couples who have dreamed of having their destination wedding in Kastel. From their pre-wedding events until the wedding reception, they have made the best decision in their lives. What a way to start and welcome married life. Pre-wedding photos were along the beach and the photos say it all. Indeed these two are in love and they are even more adorable in the photos that were taken.

The view of the bay and fortress was unrealistic. The wedding ceremony took place in the Basilica of St. Euphemia. It was a beautiful backdrop as well as a venue for the solemn wedding ceremony. Everything seemed perfect and each complemented the other. It was a simple wedding but it was worth remembering. Simple, meaningful, and solemn. You just want to embrace and savor each moment of that wedding. One cannot help but be happy and wish the couple the best married life ahead. Photos of the couple in the Roman Amphitheater, the grounds of Castel Pula were amazingly exquisite.

The reception followed and one cannot help but be in awe of the setup. The main theme of this whole wedding is simplicity. White flowers with an accent of green illuminated the venue. The bride was beautiful in white and the groom was looking dapper in his suit. Classic, clean, and expensive These were the best words to describe the reception setup. Nothing fancy, they just want the couple to be the stars of their wedding. The whole planning and execution of their dream destination wedding was perfect.
